Job Role
We’re looking for Resident Liaison Officers (RLO) to join our External Managing Agent department at the housing trust.
As an RLO, you’ll be liaising directly with our residents and providing them with a great service through your interactions with them. You will be a key support in our newly formed External Managing Agent department and supporting our Property Managers and Housing Officers in their day-to-day tasks, and we’re looking for people who have customer service experience and excellent communication skills.
You’ll need to have customer service experience and excellent communication skills as well as the ability to manage your own workload and prioritise accordingly. No two days are the same in housing management, so you’ll need to be adaptable and a problem solver with excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. Part of your role will require you to be on the phone to our residents, so you’ll need to be comfortable calling residents and speaking with them about their arrears and other matters.
Role responsibilities
Our Property Managers and Housing Officers are the main point of contact for the residents on their patch of properties. This means that their roles are varied with no two days being the same, and our Resident Liaison Officers will be there to support them in their roles by assisting them with tasks such as:
Resident call-backs
Administration tasks
Low-level rent and service charge arrears
Service charge billing
Fire risk actions
Repairs
