Summary

(Actual salary - £9,313.06 Per Annum)

15 Hours Per Week

Term Time Only, Plus 2 Additional Days

Fixed Term Until 31st August 2026

We are looking to appoint an experienced and committed Parent Support Facilitator to work alongside the existing Parent Support Advisor.The successful candidate will work closely with Otley Children’s Centre and 7 local schools in the Otley, Pool & Bramhope Cluster to engage with families by co-ordinating and providing early intervention family support within a framework of integrated services. The purpose of the role is to help parents to overcome barriers to learning and participation in order to improve future outcomes.

The successful candidate will have:

• The ability to engage constructively with adults and children to support progress towards agreed outcomes
• Ability to co-ordinate and lead support for parents dealing with challenging behaviour at home or in the community
• The ability to manage a caseload, prioritise work and organise paperwork to a high standard
• The ability to work with multi-agencies to support children, young people and families
• A commitment to Continuing Professional Development
