Summary

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests.

Prior experience in the food industry, especially in breakfast settings, is essential
Duties

Prepare and cook breakfast items according to standardised recipes and menu specifications

Assist with menu planning and suggest new breakfast options to enhance guest satisfaction

Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and sanitation guidelines

Handle food with proper techniques, including knife skills and food handling procedures

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area before, during, and after service

Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals

Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies

Serve breakfast dishes efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality

Requirements
Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations within a restaurant or catering environment

Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques

Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques

Experience with menu planning is a plus

Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously

Ability to work early mornings or flexible hours as needed for breakfast service

Dietary department experience or dietary aide experience is advantageous but not required

A passion for culinary arts and delivering exceptional food service standards

Weekdays 8am - 1pm Tuesday -Friday and occasional Weekends
