Are you an experienced CNC Machinist who is looking to kick start the new year with a new job role? Due the successful launch of a new product range, our Corby based client has an exciting opportunity to expand their team, we are looking to recruit a CNC Machinist, you will be joining a well-established, friendly team. Undertaking duties daily as a key member of the manufacturing team, to achieve production targets:
More about the job:
- Reading production specifications from engineering drawings
- Setting and operating FANUC controls and HAAS CNC Machines
- Operating CNC mills and lathe producing high quality components.
- Undertaking quality checks, and completing all relevant paper
- Actively contributing to, and participating in, continuous improvement initiatives.
- Undertaking minor maintenance duties on machinery (fault finding and fixing), raising awareness of any major maintenance faults
- As a team member supporting colleagues with tasks when possible
What we are looking for in the successful candidate:
- Competency to set and operate CNC Machine (Fanuc & HAAS)
- Ability to read and work from drawings
- Attention to detail, including numeracy, and quality performance
- Flexible and pro-active attitude
- Inquisitive mindset, with the ability to investigate and bring forward solutions
- Competent in using hand tools, tooling, and materials handling equipment safely and effectively.
