Due to continued growth and secured workload for 2025, they are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in January.
Role Overview
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will play a key role in managing commercial elements across several retail fit-out frameworks. This position will involve taking full ownership of project financials, working closely with clients, and supporting the delivery team across both office and site environments. The successful candidate will also oversee and mentor an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead commercial management across multiple retail fit-out frameworks.
• Manage all cost planning, forecasting, valuations, and financial reporting.
• Prepare and negotiate tenders, contracts, and final accounts.
• Work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure commercial objectives are met.
• Oversee, support, and develop an Assistant Quantity Surveyor.
• Conduct site visits and maintain strong awareness of live project conditions.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and financial procedures across all projects.
Skills & Experience Required
• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or an experienced QS ready to step up.
• Background in retail fit-out is advantageous, but strong transferrable experience from main contracting or general construction is highly valued.
• Strong commercial acumen with the mindset and skills to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and client-facing skills.
