Nursery Practitioner – Level 3

Salary: £29,500 | Full-Time | Discounted Childcare + Christmas Closure + Pension Scheme

An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate and qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a well-established and nurturing early years setting rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

This bright and welcoming nursery is set within a characterful building, boasting a beautiful large garden where children enjoy outdoor play and enriching learning activities all year round. The successful Nursery Practitioner will play a key role in delivering high-quality early education, fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young children through meaningful learning experiences. What You'll Need

  • A Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
  • A warm, nurturing, and child-centred approach to education and care
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
  • A genuine passion for helping children develop and thrive

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate, creative activities that support developmental goals
  • Build positive, open relationships with children, parents, and carers
  • Monitor and record children’s progress, contributing to learning journals and assessments
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the room and wider nursery
  • Maintain a high standard of care, hygiene, and safeguarding at all times
