This is a great opportunity for a junior mechanical engineer to join a well established company. You will be hands on, working on a range of motors, pumps and gearboxes. Progression will be available and pay reviews are regular.
The Role:
* Undertake repair of gearboxes electric motors and pumps.
* Ensures deadlines are met to meet with customer expectation.
* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as and when needed.
* Adherence to Health and Safety protocol.
* Complete workshop documentation and pass to Workshop Supervisor or Manager.
* Completion of daily timesheets.
* Keeps a clean and tidy work area.
* Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Workshop Supervisor or Manager.
The Candidate:
* Proven experience within gearboxes, electrical motors and pumps.
* Computer skills required to basic level.
* Knowledge of safety protocols and PPE.
* Team player.
* Excellent communication skills.
