I am looking for a Personal Assistant to support me manage my home environment, daily routines, meal preparation and to attend medical appointments. I enjoy crafts, especially knitting and would enjoy going out for a cup of coffee. I need to bring my mobility scooter when going out.
My health conditions can leave me feeling overwhelmed and at these times, I can find it difficult. It would be advantageous if you have experience of supporting people on the autism spectrum and implementing coping mechanisms.
MY preferred times are Tuesdays and Fridays after 12pm. Punctuality is very. Important to me
I like to prepare meals in line with my dietary requirements which is gluten and dairy free. I avoid several foods due to allergy concerns. I require support in preparing fresh vegetable meals. I like to batch cook meals so some can be frozen.
I have a fear of germs; some light cleaning is required. This helps me to manage other aspects of my daily life.
When supporting me to attend appointments, you may need to remind me of any information that was provided for the appointment. I may need you to help me remain calm and to navigate buildings.
I require a driver due to my location; you must have appropriate business insurance for taking me out in your car. I need to bring my mobility scooter when going out

If requested by the employer, two satisfactory references must be provided. This post is subject to a trial period of 1 month and a probationary period of up to 6 months.
Wages will be paid in arrears on a 4 weekly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.
You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
