The Priory Learning Trust is looking to recruit an Administration Assistant to work at Priory Community School - An Academy. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and receptionist support to our school.
What you will do:
Provide general administrative and receptionist support for all areas of the school, under the direction of your line manager.
Respond to queries in writing, on the phone and via email in a professional, polite and timely manner, passing them on where appropriate. Taking messages, referring as appropriate and providing phone support.
Provide general administrative support with school trips, as directed by the Headteacher.
Update the school's Single Central Record (SCR) and maintain school communication systems, such as newsletters and school calendars.
Manage the input, maintenance and collection of all student data at the school, working alongside the data manager, ensuring that confidential information is held securely, and providing reports where required using a variety of school-based data software. Maintain records and filing systems in line with school processes.
The successful candidate will have:
A good general standard of education, including GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English, or equivalent.
Knowledge or experience of working in an office environment in established routines and an efficient set of office skills.
A thorough working knowledge of ICT software packages such as Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel.
Accuracy and attention to detail in all work, alongside excellent communication skills (both spoken and written), and a commitment to safeguarding children.
