Our client is a busy digital book printer and bindery based on the Eldon Way Industrial Estate in Hockley, Essex. They work with a wide range of publishing clients, from large global publishing houses to independent presses, delivering high-quality digital print and finishing services for the publishing industry.
With regards to the position, although our client is ideally seeking an experienced prepress applicant, they would not rule out someone with no experience who is eager to learn and enter the industry. However, the salary would naturally differ if full training is required.
What’s in it for you?
• 28 days holiday (including bank holidays)
• 3% employer pension contribution (Auto-Enrolment)
• Working within a supportive, dedicated prepress team
• Full training provided on specialist software and workflows
• Opportunity to develop advanced skills in digital print production
Are you the right person for the job?

• Strong communication skills
• A reliable, committed work ethic
• Compliance with health & safety processes
• Live locally – within 15 miles of SS5 4AD
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Enfocus Pitstop, digital printing, or workflow software is desirable but not essential—full training will be given to the right candidate.
What will your role look like?
• Preparing, checking, adjusting, and manipulating digital files to ensure they are fully print-ready
• Using Adobe Creative Suite (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop), Enfocus Pitstop, Microsoft Office, and internal MIS tools
• Ensuring accurate file setup, making amendments where required

• Investigating production issues and working with internal teams—and occasionally clients—to resolve problems quickly
