A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent, RCVS accredited, purpose built hospital in the vibrant city of Milton Keynes. Purovets are proud to be working with this long established practice, one of the oldest in the region! The practice continues to thrive across its impressive network of five sites, including a fully equipped hospital, three branches, and a dedicated consult only clinic. With Milton Keynes recently named the 4th best place for under 30s to live in the UK, excellent rail links to London and the South Coast, and endless entertainment and leisure options, this is an ideal location for those seeking both career and lifestyle enrichment.

The successful applicant will join a dynamic team of vets, celebrated for their strong medical focus and depth of expertise. The practice boasts certificate holders in Surgery, Medicine, Ophthalmology and Dermatology, alongside vets with advanced interests in Orthopaedics, Dentistry, Imaging and Cardiology, offering an inspiring environment for collaboration and clinical growth. For a vet with a surgical interest or a passion for dermatology, this role presents a superb opportunity to develop your niche while being fully supported by a team that values progression and shared learning.

With state-of-the-art equipment including video endoscopy, two brand new ultrasound machines, full orthopaedic and ophthalmology kits, and dual dental X-ray units, clinicians have access to the tools they need to deliver outstanding patient care. While occasional sole charge at branch sites is part of the role, there is always immediate support available from the hospital team, ensuring confident, seamless decision making throughout the day.

Whether full-time or part-time, this role promises clinical autonomy, varied caseloads, and a collaborative culture where your skills, passions and professional ambitions will be celebrated. If you're a Veterinary Surgeon with a minimum of five years’ experience seeking a welcoming, progressive, and independent environment to truly flourish, this practice offers an exceptional place to build the next chapter of your career!
