Summary
Kenect Recruitment are looking for reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our growing transport team in the Leeds area. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods across the UK, ensuring a high level of professionalism at all times.
Class 1 HGV Driver Key Responsibilities

Operate Class 1 tractor-trailers for point-to-point (A-to-B) trunk routes

Transport trailers between depots, hubs, or distribution centres with no manual unloading

Perform required pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections

Couple and uncouple trailers safely (shunting, swapping, dropping, and hooking)

Valid Category C+E (Class 1) licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

Minimum 6 months experience preferred (new passes considered depending on role)

Clean driving record or no more than 6 points
