Summary

SEND Learning Support Assistant (SEND LSA) Opportunity
Location: South Gloucester
Contract: Full-time / Part-time (Flexible options available)
Start Date: ASAP

Are you a passionate SEND LSA looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional needs? We are excited to welcome a dedicated and compassionate SEND LSA to join our inclusive, supportive, and nurturing team. In this rewarding role, you’ll help pupils with SEND thrive both academically and emotionally.

✨ What You’ll Be Doing

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support as a committed SEND LSA


  • Foster a positive, caring, and inclusive learning environment for all pupils


  • Adapt resources and activities to meet individual learning needs


  • Support pupils in developing independence, confidence, and social skills


  • Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver personalised learning plans


  • Assist with classroom organisation, preparation, and day-to-day routines


  • Promote pupil well-being, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour


    What We’re Looking For

    • Experience working as a SEND LSA or in a similar role supporting children with SEND


    • A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach


    • Strong communication and teamwork skills


    • A genuine passion for helping pupils overcome barriers to learning


    • Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with students


    • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
