A day in the life of…As Maintenance Supervisor, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our property safe, functional and welcoming. Your role will involve supervising and coordinating all maintenance tasks, from repairs and upgrades to preventive care, ensuring every area of the hotel meets our high standards. You’ll take responsibility for systems such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical, making sure everything runs smoothly and complies with safety regulations.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll interact with guests and the general public, resolving issues promptly and professionally to protect the guest experience. You’ll also work closely with contractors, managing their work and auditing health and safety permits to ensure compliance with company and legal requirements. Regular inspections will help you identify and address potential problems before they escalate, and you’ll collaborate with other departments to keep operations seamless. As the hotel’s Energy Champion, you’ll lead sustainability initiatives and engage with brand standards to reduce our environmental impact.
What do we need from you?We’re looking for someone with at least two years’ experience in a maintenance role at managerial level, with skills in one or more building trades and the ability to carry out first-level fault finding. You’ll need strong communication skills to work with guests, contractors and colleagues, and a solid understanding of health and safety compliance. A proactive approach and a passion for delivering a great guest experience are essential.
