Summary
For further information - please see job description. The postholder will be managerially accountable to the Clinical Director of Obstetrics & Gynaecology. Junior Medical Staff should ensure that only 2 members of each rota is on leave at one time. Approval for leave is at the discretion of the relevant Consultants and is department on continuity of patient care. Applicants must, by the date of application, have Full GMC Registration with a Licence to Practice. The appointment is subject to satisfactory health clearance and clearance by the Disclosure and Barring Service (Enhanced DBS). The appointed doctor accepts that he/she will perform duties in occasional emergencies and unforeseen circumstances at Consultant request, though resident doctors will not be required to undertake this work for prolonged periods on a regular basis.
