Summary
Job Purpose Digital health services are pivotal to the wide reaching transformation agenda at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals Trust WAHT. Within five years, the Trust intends to be an outstanding provider of healthcare. Digital and IT services will provide the foundations to enable this to happen. This role will ensure that the vision, direction and clinical strategy for the Trust is fully enabled by digital processes, change and innovation. The post holder will work closely with all key stakeholders, and play an influential role with respect to developing the health economy digital agenda in partnership with NHS and care organisations across the Integrated Care System. Working in partnership with Integrated Care Boards and ICS Digital lead the CDO will be part of the Digital Health Leadership community driving forward the ICS digital programme to deliver a shared, aligned infrastructure that underpins wider population health capabilities, multi disciplinary clinical team working and digesting care pathways. This executive portfolio will include all Digital services within the Trust, including strategic and operational IT, Information, Performance, and Business Intelligence, Information Governance, Health Records and Data Quality. The post holder will be an executive, non-voting, member of the Board of Directors and report to the Chief Executive.
