Our client, Schneider Electric, a global leader in energy management and automation, is urgently seeking a CT Inspection Operative to join their team in Eastfield.


About the Role:

As a CT Inspection Operative, you will play a crucial role in our production processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Using computed tomography to perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on electronic components and products.
Placing components securely within the CT system for scanning.
Operating industrial X-ray and CT scanning equipment to generate 3D models of parts.
Analysing the resulting 3D images for internal flaws, defects, material inconsistencies, assembly errors, and ensuring conformance to design specifications.
Generating reports for quality assurance, failure analysis, or reverse engineering applications.
Setting up and running automated inspection routines.
Collaborating with team members to meet production targets
Maintaining a clean and organised work space
Following safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment
Strictly applying standardised processes in manufacturing across various tasks, including basic maintenance.
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
Ensuring the quality of operations by adhering to established standards.
Identifying and communicating any risks related to health, safety, quality, and environmental issues to the Team Leader.
Reporting all incidents and near misses, while applying the escalation process for any deviations in safety, quality, or performance.
Processing orders accurately and promptly.
Carrying out additional duties as assigned by the line manager.

What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

Knowledge of NDT principles and prior experience of NDT desirable
Ability to interpret complex technical data and images
Proven experience in a quality control, inspection or manufacturing environment
Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques
Exceptional attention to detail and proven analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately, meeting deadlines consistently.
A practical aptitude for science or engineering skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
High flexibility and dependability.
A motivated mindset, eagerness to learn, and a good attendance record.
