Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Counselling Lecturer in the Lancashire area. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality teaching to learners across the HE Counselling curriculum, ensuring excellent learner experience and academic progress.

Hourly Rate £33 - £38 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching across to L4 - L6 students.
- Prepare and deliver lessons, seminars, and workshops in line with curriculum requirements.
- Support learners through effective academic guidance, feedback, and tutorial support.
- Develop lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments that meet awarding body standards.
- Contribute to the monitoring of learner progress and maintain accurate records.
- Support curriculum development and enhancement where required.
- Participate in team meetings, staff development, and quality assurance processes.
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, DET, Cert Ed, QTLS, or equivalent).
- Degree or higher qualification in Counselling.
- Experience working as a Counseller.
- Demonstrable experience delivering Counselling content in FE or HE settings.
- Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
