AQ Wiring Systems Rockford is looking for a proactive and hands-on Finance Manager to lead financial control, reporting and business partnering across our three UK manufacturing sites. This is a key leadership position in a growing global industrial group, offering the opportunity to shape the finance function and drive operational impact. This role offers involvement in operational improvement and strategic decision-making with a supportive and collaborative leadership team and influence over profitability, efficiency and financial strategy, and career growth within a global manufacturing group.

Hours
Full time available however flexibility can be agreed for slightly less hours if preferred
07.45am - 5.00pm Monday to Thursday
07.45am -12.45pm Friday (1 Friday off every 4 weeks!)

Main Responsibilities
• Lead monthly and annual financial reporting.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
• Oversee cash flow, working capital and cost efficiency.
• Ensure accurate stock accounting and inventory control.
• Manage statutory accounts, VAT and external audits.
• Provide financial insight to support operational and commercial decisions.
• Lead and develop the finance team across sites.




Experience / Skills / Attributes
• Strong background in financial control, reporting and planning.
• Confident analysing inventory and stock impacts on P&L.
• Skilled with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
• Proactive, hands-on and able to work independently.
• Effective communicator with leadership experience.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Professional qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) is an advantage.
