Year ManagerPermanent, 37hrs per week, Term-Time Only (39 weeks)Scale 5, Point 13 - 17: £29,064 - £31,022 (Actual Salary: £25,279.10 - £26,982.12)Starting Date - As Soon As Possible The opportunity has arisen for a year manager within our successful, enthusiastic and talented pastoral department.Highfields is a vibrant and popular school with approximately 1300 students, including 200 in our sixth form. Our students are friendly and highly motivated. Highfields are proud to be a part of East Midlands Education Trust (EMET), a partnership of schools whose mission is to raise the educational standards and improve the life chances of all the children within our Trust. Our schools are high performing schools who represent the full age range of 3-19, along with an alternative education provider, and we place great emphasis on collaborative working across the Trust within a family of schools approach. Our schools enjoy a high degree of ‘aligned autonomy’ whilst, at the same time, they are supported by a central trust team who help ensure our schools provide the highest quality of provision possible. Our Year Managers work with a year group throughout their journey through Highfields being their main contact support out of the classroom. To start as soon as possible, we are looking for an outstanding practitioner. The successful candidate will be resourceful, inspirational and forward thinking. Highfields is situated in Matlock, the county town of Derbyshire, on the south eastern edge of the beautiful Peak District National Park. It is within easy reach of Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham.
