We are seeking reliable Van Drivers to provide ad-hoc cover for sickness and holiday absences across clients in Blackburn and surrounding areas. The role involves multi-drop deliveries and collections, ensuring goods are transported safely and on time. Flexibility is essential as work will be offered on short notice.
Key Responsibilities- Complete deliveries and collections as scheduled.
- Ensure goods are handled safely and securely.
- Carry out vehicle checks and maintain accurate paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding any issues or delays.
- Full UK driving licence (Category B).
- Previous van driving experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of local routes and UK road regulations.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexible and available at short notice.
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.50.
