Summary
We are recruiting three Ophthalmic Imaging Technicians who share our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
To work within the Ophthalmology multidisciplinary team to deliver a comprehensive range of core ophthalmic diagnostic services to the highest standards of quality and care.
Previous photographic and/or diagnostic imaging experience is desirable. Full in-house training will be provided, and the post holder must undertake to work towards competencies in a variety of Ophthalmic diagnostic modalities.
In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £1,303 and a maximum payment of £2,198.

Performing diagnostic imaging and contributing to the assessment of patients attending the ENHT Ophthalmology department.
Working without direct supervision to provide a high-quality technical service of ophthalmic diagnostic testing and imaging for both adults and paediatrics, under the direction of the Senior Ophthalmic Imaging Technician.
Provide a variety of diagnostic ophthalmic imaging following achievement of local competences.
Diagnostic imaging includes visual acuity, ocular coherence tomography (OCT), widefield digital retinal imaging- anterior and posterior images and fundus autofluorescence (FAF).
