Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking to appoint a Junior Clinical Urological Fellow to join our dynamic and internationally renowned Urology Department. This is an exciting opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading academic health science centres, where clinical excellence, cutting-edge research, and education converge to deliver world-class patient care.
The post holder will be part of the Imperial Urology team based at Charing Cross Hospital. The urology service delivers acute care for urological emergencies and elective urological care through the various subspecialties.
The post is available to start as soon as possible for a fixed term period of 4 months.
Working as part of a team at the forefront of surgical innovation, the post-holder will also have access to training opportunities. The post holders will have opportunities to be involved in Quality Improvement projects.

The primary focus of this role will be attending urology ward rounds, providing inpatient care and reviewing patients in the Emergency Department.

The Clinical Fellow will be involved in the day-to-day running of the Urology inpatient service at Charing Cross Hospital. This will include attending ward rounds and managing emergency cases. The post-holder will be expected to take an active role in managing patient pathways.
During their time in the urology department, the Fellow can expect to improve their clinical skills in general Urology and gain exposure to other subspecialist areas. The post holders will have opportunities to be involved in Quality Improvement projects.
During a four-month period the appointee can expect to see all common urological problems and pathologies, and in addition will see a variety of more unusual and general urology conditions.
