We are supporting a welcoming and inclusive school in Newton Heath that is looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for someone confident working with a diverse range of additional needs across Key Stages 1, 2 and 3.
In this role, you will:

Provide tailored support to pupils on a 1:1 basis and within small groups

Use effective strategies to assist learners with speech, language and communication needs, including those who are non-verbal

Support children and young people with autism, sensory needs and social communication challenges

Respond calmly and consistently to challenging behaviour linked to SEMH

Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to adapt learning, remove barriers and promote full inclusion

We're seeking someone who has:

Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school environment (essential)
