Summary

Fleet & Plant Co-ordinator (Full-Time)
Construction sector | Hall Farm (near Perthshire) | Workshop & Site Support
We’re looking for a skilled Fleet & Plant Co-ordinator to look after our vehicles, plant and lifting equipment across the business. You’ll work mainly from our Hall Farm workshop, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance and keeping vehicles safe, compliant and ready for work. This role also supports breakdowns and inspections, so experience as a mechanic is important. You’ll be the go-to person for the civils teams, making sure equipment is available, safe and in good working order.
What you’ll be doing
• Servicing, repairing and inspecting company vehicles and plant
• Carrying out scheduled MOTs, checks and maintenance records
• Completing 6-weekly lorry inspections and LOLER examinations
• Sorting breakdowns and minor roadside repairs when required
• Keeping the Hall Farm workshop tidy, organised and safe
• Managing tools, parts and stock levels
• Working with external garages, suppliers and dealerships
• Supporting planned and reactive site needs across Scotland
• Helping source and assess future vehicles and equipment
What we’re looking for
• A time-served mechanic or technician
• Confident with plant, vehicles and safety inspections
• Comfortable working alone and managing your own workload
• Able to plan ahead and also react quickly to urgent requests
• Someone practical, reliable, tidy and safety-minded
• Good communication skills and confident dealing with suppliers
• Experience with LOLER, HGV inspections or lifting equipment would be very useful
What you’ll get
• A varied, hands-on role that really matters to the business
• Support from a friendly, trusted team
• A well-equipped workshop base at Hall Farm
• The chance to shape how we maintain and grow our fleet
• A role where your judgement and experience make a real difference
