Over recent years we’ve established an impressive reputation as a Council with a strong sense of direction and an enviable record for improving services and getting things done. We now have an exciting opportunity for a person of the right caliber to help drive this change forward.
The Planning Policy Manager will be responsible for managing the development of Hyndburn’s Local Plan, through which will be secured high quality and sustainable development across the Borough. The Council is seeking to deliver growth and investment for Hyndburn and the Local Plan is central to this with two strategic employment sites and a garden village at Huncoat.
The Planning Policy Manager will be a highly motivated, qualified and experienced planner who will be expected to manage the development of a sound local plan and ensure it is supported by the necessary evidence.
