Summary

To apply for this post you : Should be a qualified Occupational Therapist and registered with The Health Care and Professions Council (HCPC). Have previous experience working within a mental health setting, either as an OT or in another capacity (including as a student/in another role). Be passionate about improving the lives of individuals who are being held within the criminal justice system Understand that the secure inpatient setting is a challenging but hugely rewarding work setting. Have the intention and ability to establish therapeutic relationships with service, who are likely to have had adverse experiences of authority figures, based on trust and respect Work holistically and creatively with service users to improve occupational functioning and improved quality of life.
