Summary
Reignsons Cottage is a CQC-registered home care provider,delivering high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes. We are currently seeking both male and female domiciliary care workers who are drivers and have a passion for helping others live independently and with dignity.
This is a flexible, zero-hour position ideal for people who want to work around other responsibilities or seek additional income.
Duties
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, your responsibilities will include:
Delivering personal care such as bathing, toileting, and grooming
Supporting clients with mobility, medication, and meal preparation
Providing companionship and emotional support
Light household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
Promoting independence and safeguarding client dignity
Travelling to and from client homes within Maidstone/ Canterbury and nearby areas
Completing care logs and reporting any concerns promptly
Adhering to CQC regulations and Reignsons Cottage policies at all times
Skills & Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must:
Be a confident driver with a valid driving licence and access to your own car
Speak and understand English fluently (written and verbal)
Have a kind, caring, and respectful nature
Be reliable, punctual, and able to work alone or as part of a team
Previous care experience is preferred but not essential. We welcome applicants with a genuine passion for care, a strong work ethic, and the ability to learn quickly. Full induction will be provided to ensure you understand our values and standards.
Be eligible to work in the UK (We do not offer sponsorship at this time)
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care is desirable.
We are especially interested in candidates who are experienced and ready to work. If you are not qualified yet but have good care experience, we may be able to support your development as we grow.
