Summary

NLC7: £30,467 - £33,142 Per Year (Plus Additional Non-Core Hours & Night Shift Payments)
Based within the Community Alarm Service in Motherwell you will be part of a team handling calls from service users across North Lanarkshire. This role requires you to be an effective communicator and have the necessary skills to enable you to assess the needs of callers, ensuring they are provided with the appropriate support which can include mobilising Home Support staff where necessary. As essential aspect of this role is ensuring that information is accurately recorded on the service database and relayed appropriately to those involved in the care and support within the service users’ in their homes. You will also be involved in the provision of statistical information and updating and maintaining service user records.
You should be able to demonstrate that you are an effective communicator and have previous experience working with people. The ability to prioritise your workload with minimum supervision is essential as is the requirement to have good IT skills which able you to update and extract information from different systems. A HNC or SVQ Level 3 in Social Care is desirable.
The successful applicant will be subject to a standard criminal conviction check through Disclosure Scotland.
Working Pattern:
4 shifts on 07:00am - 17:00pm, 4 shifts off
4 shifts on 21:30pm - 07:30am, 4 shifts off
4 shifts on 13:00pm - 23:00pm, 4 shifts off.
