Summary
Are you a compassionate, reliable, and friendly individual looking for a deeply fulfilling career that makes a significant difference in someone's daily life?
Added Care are seeking dedicated Live-In Carers to provide essential support, companionship, and professional care to our clients in their own homes. This is a unique opportunity to build a strong, meaningful relationship with a client and become a vital part of their support system.
As a Live-In Carer, you will reside temporarily in a client’s home, providing consistent, tailored, one-on-one support based entirely on their unique needs, routine, and preferences. You will empower them to live comfortably, safely, and independently in their familiar surroundings.
Key responsibilities include:
Personalised Support: Assisting with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support, always maintaining dignity and privacy.
Companionship: Providing engaging conversation, emotional support, and shared activities to enrich the client’s life and combat loneliness.
Household Management: Managing daily household tasks, including light cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping.
Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals tailored to the client's dietary needs and preferences.
Medication Management: Prompting or administering medication as prescribed and meticulously recording details.
Driving and Community Access: Utilising your driving skills to run errands, attend appointments, and facilitate social outings.
Monitoring and Communication: Observing client well-being and maintaining clear communication with management and family members about any changes in condition.
We are looking for individuals with a naturally caring disposition who can adapt to living in a client's private home while maintaining professional boundaries.
You should hold a full, valid UK driving licence and be comfortable driving the client’s vehicle or your own for errands and outings.
While previous care experience is beneficial, we prioritise the right attitude and values.
You must be patient, empathetic, reliable, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about delivering high-quality care.
You must be willing to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check or have Enhanced DBS on the update service
