Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM Start Date: ASAP Contract: Full-Time, Term-TimeAre you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? We are recruiting for two full-time SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a special school setting in Halesowen. This school supports pupils with autism, moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH) in a nurturing and inclusive environment.About the Roles:

  • 1:1 Support (Male Required)
  • Due to the specific needs of the student, this role requires a male Teaching Assistant to provide appropriate one-to-one support.
  • Help the student with learning, social development, and emotional well-being.
  • Small Group Support (Primary)
  • Support a small group of primary-aged pupils with tailored learning activities.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to deliver interventions and encourage engagement.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Sports coaches, football coaches, or behavioural mentors with experience working with children.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a positive, energetic approach.
  • Child-related experience that can be referenced (school, youth work, coaching, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Ability to commit to Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude.
  • Valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
