Summary
We are seeking to expand our team of Invigilators. Join our friendly team in the running of all public and internal examinations at the school throughout the academic year.
Duties include supervising students sitting public and internal exams, helping to ensure the smooth running of exams by preparing exam rooms, distributing and collecting exam papers, assisting with access arrangements and reasonable adjustments to facilitate students' needs - all in accordance with the awarding body and JCQ regulations. Successful candidates will have excellent communication skills; a confident and caring demeanour and have a reassuring presence in the Examination Room. This is a casual contact and working hours will be negotiated for each exam period February, March, April, May, June and November. The successful applicant will work under the guidance and of the examinations officer.
Previous experience is not required as full training will be provided. See the attached recruitment pack for a breakdown of the role and responsibilities. As part of our due diligence process when shortlisting, we may carry out an online search of publicly available material to identify any incidents or issues which we might want to explore with the applicant at interview. We also reserve the right to interview prospective candidates at any point and to close the advert early.
