Ascertain and interpret group interests, evaluate equipment and facilities, and adapt activities to meet individual participant needs. Explain principles, techniques, and safety procedures to participants in recreational activities, and demonstrate use of materials and equipment. Develop positive relationships with participants. To adopt a pragmatic and non-judgmental approach. To provide structured opportunities for people to relax and socialise.
