Hours of work: 13 hours per week plus additional hours to cover my other PA’s absence
Rate of pay: £14.00 per hour
Introduction:
Job vacancy for a PA for an easy-going gentleman in Bow Street.
I require assistance in maintaining a safe home environment, personal care ,cooking, laundry and socialising. You will be required to cover additional hours, which includes additional days and afternoons to cover my other PA’s absences.
Monday to Thursday 9am – 11.30am and Friday 9am – 12.00am
Main Tasks
• Support with showering and creaming of skin to maintain skin viability.
• Change of catheter bag from night bag to day bag.
• Support to get dressed.
• Support with preparation of breakfast.
• support with preparation of medication in dosset box (employer self-medicates).
• support with general domestic indoor chores such as cleaning the immediate area the activity takes place such as washing up after cooking and cleaning bathroom after showering.
• Once trained, carry out Peristeen procedure every other day.
• support in the evening with preparation of a meal.
• Support with laundry.
• Support with bedtime routine.
• Support with dressing for bed
• Socialisation, support me with occasional outing.

• Outgoing kind nature
• Able to use own initiative and be self-motivated
• Able to maintain confidentiality and be aware of privacy.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills.
• Full driving license an advantage

Wages will be paid in arrears on a 4 weekly basis once a valid National Insurance (NI) number has been provided. You must be eligible to work in the UK and your employer will conduct document checks prior to commencement.
You will receive the appropriate annual leave entitlement as well as all other statutory entitlements, details of which will be set out in your contract of employment. You will also be issued with a Personal Assistants Handbook when your employment commences.
You will be expected to undertake any mandatory training identified as relevant to this post. The cost of mandatory training will be met through the direct payment. Failure to attend mandatory training may result in your employment offer being withdrawn.
