Rate: £300 a day

This is working for a leading house building company dedicated to delivering high-quality homes and exceptional customer satisfaction. We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded buyer Buyer to join the procurement team.
The Buyer will play a key role in securing ,materials, products, and subcontractor services to support our housing developments. You will ensure the best value, maintain strong supplier relationships, and support site teams to keep projects running smoothly and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
-Source, negotiate, and procure materials and services for multiple housing developments.
-Manage purchasing schedules, lead times, and order quantities.
-Maintain cost control and ensure all buying activities align with budget targets.
-Build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
-Analyse supplier performance and negotiate improved terms where possible.
What We Are Looking For:
-Previous experience as a buyer with a house builder.
-Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
-Excellent organisational and analytic abilities.
-Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
-Must have COINS experience.
