Are you an experienced handyman looking for ongoing work in Wigston? We are seeking a reliable and skilled handyman to join our team for a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. Immediate start available for the right candidate!

The Role

As a Handyman, you will support various residential and commercial projects by carrying out general maintenance and repairs. Your duties will include:

  • General property maintenance and repair work (plumbing, electrical, carpentry)

  • Installation of fixtures and fittings (shelves, blinds, etc.)

  • Painting and decorating tasks as required

  • Minor plumbing repairs, such as fixing leaks and unblocking drains

  • General maintenance of the property, including outdoor tasks like garden fencing and clearing

  • Assisting with larger renovation projects when needed

  • Ensuring all work is carried out to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Handyman or Maintenance Worker

  • Strong skills in basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting

  • Own tools and reliable transportation

  • CSCS card (desirable but not essential)

  • PPE: safety boots, hi-vis vest, hard hat (if required on site)

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions

  • Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
