We are excited to recruit to a Senior Clinical Psychologist post to support the provision of psychological input across our Children and Young People’s Mental Health (CYPMH) team in South Cumbria (covering our team bases in Kendal and Barrow-in-Furness).
The successful candidate will be expected to support the provision and delivery of high quality psychological services within their specific geographical area and work closely with senior colleagues to achieve this.
They will provide a qualified specialist clinical psychology service to children, young people and their families, within a specialist CAMHS team, including delivering specialist psychological assessment, formulation and psychological therapies.
Another key part of the role will be to offer advice and consultation to non-psychology colleagues and to other non-professional carers, as well as to utilise research skills for audit policy and service development within the area served by the service.
