Role: Support Worker - Nights

Location: Selby – you must drive and have access to your own car as our home is not accessible by public transport.

Rota Pattern: 10 hours shifts, 10pm to 8am

Pay: £12.94 per hour (full time equivalent of £27,030)

If you are looking for a new job working nights but want to work in a role where you can make a real difference…this could be your
next role!!

We are looking for a Waking Nights Support Worker to keep one of our young people safe at night. By keeping eyes on them, 24/7,
we can ensure this young person remain safe from harm.

Working with another Support Worker each shift, you will alternate each hour, ensuring this young person does not try to harm
themselves. They are not at risk to anyone else and with the support of our in-house day team and clinical service, we are
working to give this young person the support and help they need. In the meantime, we need someone like you to keep watch over
them and keep them safe.

Working a 10 hour shift including breaks, you will alternate between sitting with our young person while they sleep and doing
other tasks in the home supporting the day shift with any necessary tasks.

This role would suit someone naturally caring and child-centred. While previous experience of working with a child in care would
be an advantage, we are happy to give you the training and support you need.

We hope this to be a temporary situation so are open to you working with us on a temporary basis. We have other opportunities
within the home should you wish to stay with us longer term but would be open to a casual or fixed term contract with you
depending on your availability and needs. We can also be flexible on the rota pattern if you can let us know what your
availability is and we can create a rota pattern around you. We can offer part time or full time hours based on your availability.

This role is based within a residential care home for children. Sadly the home is not accessible by public transport and
therefore you will need your own transport to get to and from the property.

Interested? Apply now and we can arrange an informal call to start your application!!
