Summary
The CEO will work with the executive team to ensure delivery of the short-term, fundamental, transformation to transition to the Model ICB, ensure effective delivery of the 2025/26 plans, build the foundation for neighbourhood health and manage the local changes involved with ICB redesign. The Chief Executive Officer will: Provide strategic leadership to deliver the ICBs core purposes: understanding local need, developing a long-term population health strategy, allocating resources effectively to reduce health inequalities and evaluating impact Lead the transformation to become a Model ICB, ensuring successful delivery of the 2025/26 plans and the redesign of functions across the organisation: leading, supporting and developing the executive team, ensuring high performance, compassionate leadership and accountability. Oversee the strategic commissioning of NHS-funded services, ensuring alignment of investment with outcomes and improving value for money. Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with partners across the NHS, local government, and the voluntary and community sector.
