All applicants must be able to demonstrate right to work in the UK. ( We do not sponsor or issue work visas)
6 Month Contract starting in May 2026 to November 2026
Irrigation
The irrigation team mainly concentrate on the irrigation of salad crops, this involves mainly tractor driving (experience is beneficial) when there is insufficient work due to the weather, other work around the farm will be included e.g. planting/covers/maintenance/estate maintenance. Work can be any time during a 24 hr 7 day a week operation. At least 1 day off per week with 11 hours break in between shifts. Pay is hourly paid and wages paid weekly (1 week in arrears). An understanding of English would be beneficial as instructions will be given in English. Full training, supervision and support will be given during the first few weeks at the farm for new workers, you will be In a team of 8 and will work in pairs.
Hourly rate paid is £12.21, and you may also earn performance-based bonuses. Once you have successfully completed your probation period and demonstrating your ability to perform the job well, you may be eligible for a higher hourly rate.
Depending on your course dates and job role, you may be required to work away in Suffolk farm from around the middle of October for approximately one month until all of the crops are harvested there.
