Summary

Are you passionate about supporting international students and helping them succeed in their studies in the UK?

The Student Immigration Service wish to appoint two Student Immigration Advisers to join our friendly, dedicated team of specialist advisers and administrators.

About the role

As a Student Immigration Adviser, you’ll play a vital role in guiding students through the UK immigration system, ensuring they can fully engage with their studies. You’ll provide expert advice and support to students subject to immigration controls, both in person and online.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Advising international students on visa and immigration matters.
* Collaborating with colleagues to deliver a consistent, high-quality service.
* Producing Confirmations of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) for Student visa applicants across all University programmes.
* Contributing to processes that maintain the University’s Student visa sponsor status.

About you

We’re looking for someone who:
* has knowledge of student immigration requirements and UK Visas and Immigration compliance.
* possesses excellent interpersonal skills to respond effectively to queries from students and colleagues.
* is an experienced and efficient administrator with excellent attention to detail.
* can demonstrate strong organisational skills and the ability to develop administrative systems.

It is also desirable if you have:
* experience supporting students in a Higher Education environment.
* familiarity with student records systems and databases.
* understanding of the international student experience.
* experience with CAS production and Student visa requirements (training can be provided).
