Hours:
10 hours per week, with flexible scheduling. Afternoon and early evening availability is preferred. Final working hours will be discussed during the interview.

Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour
About the Role:
A Personal Assistant is required to support a gentleman living with dementia, helping him maintain independence at home and in the community.
Main Duties Include:
· Accompanying the client for short outings (e.g., tea or a small meal)
· Prompting appropriate clothing choices based on weather
· Preparing hot drinks and turning on the TV
· Assisting with small shopping tasks
· Light domestic duties (e.g., wiping surfaces, washing cups)
· Occasional personal care prompts (e.g., reminders to shower or wash hands)
· Flexibility to undertake other reasonable tasks as needed
Note: Duties may vary daily. Flexibility and willingness to undertake reasonable tasks are essential.
Requirements – Essential:
· Respectful of the client’s wishes
· Honest and trustworthy
· Good communication skills
· Patient and well-mannered
· A good sense of humour
Preferred:
· Owns a vehicle and holds a valid driver’s licence
· Has business insurance
· Non-smoker
Additional Information:
· A probationary period will apply
· An enhanced DBS check will be required (provided free of charge)
