Summary
HMPPS Band 6 - Workforce Delivery Advisor
The role will be responsible for providing support to the SPOCS during the successful testing and implementation of Workforce Delivery Models. This will include attending a significant number of sites visits and supporting the QA process.
They will need to engage with frontline staff and will need to have good operational knowledge of the range of different prisons and prisoner cohorts to be able to accurately explain the nuances of the models and the impact they will have at site level. The ability to collate, review and analyse complex data is crucial to the role.
The post holder will also need to be familiar with project management techniques including the development, embedding and management of all processes relating to the implementation of WDMs.
Experience
It is essential that post holders have experience of working in a frontline role, either operational or non-operational, and in either a Prison or Probation setting.
Ability
• Post holders must be competent in the use of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word (or equivalent software used by HMPPS).
• An understanding of Power BI and a willingness to learn is also required.
Please note that this is an opportunity for a secondment for up to 18 months.
