Summary


Applications are invited from suitable candidates for Paediatric SHO post - for 6 months to start ASAP, to work in a friendly, well supported working environment, supporting learning and development of the candidate. This is a EWTD compliant full shift rota. We provide a 24/7 consultant led service so you will be well supported at all times in the day/night. There are 9 speciality registrars (ST4+), and 17 paediatric speciality registrars (ST1-3). The post holder will be expected to work in general paediatrics covering the ward, A&E, post-natal ward doing NIPEs, and attending deliveries in the Labour room. Candidates for this role must have full GMC registration with a licence to practise and recent experience within the NHS is desirable.

The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust’s services at Mount Vernon Hospital include routine day surgery, delivered at a modern treatment centre, a minor injuries unit and outpatient clinics.
