We have an exciting opportunity within the National Technician Development Centre (NTDC) for someone with a passion for analysing data to use their skills to make an impact on the sustainability of the technical community within the HE sector. You will join the small but dynamic NTDC and HEaTED team.
The Project and Data Co-ordinator will join the team to ensure the smooth delivery of NTDC services, with a focus on the NTDC’s Technician Survey and HEaTED, which delivers technical training courses and CPD to members.
The role involves providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running of training courses for technical staff, and working with institutions to tailor surveys to suit their needs and assisting organisations in developing engagement strategies to ensure satisfactory completion rates. The Research and Survey Officer will also create bespoke reports based on data collected from organisations, as well as contribute to the development of other research projects at the NTDC.
You will be educated to a degree level or have equivalent experience. You will also be highly organised, have excellent attention to detail, positive communications and interpersonal skills, have the ability to persuade and influence others, and an understanding of how best to collect and present data. You should be a competent user of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, and ideally have some experience of survey software e.g Qualtrics.
The Project and Data Co-ordinator will be joining a core team at the NTDC working to support institutions in achieving a sustainable future for technicians and technician services. You will be line managed by the Operations Manager and working closely with all the team at NTDC and HEaTED.
