Summary
Garden Centre Team Member Goods In
Full Time - 30 Hours Per Week – Including Weekends
At British Garden Centres, not only do we aim to deliver a great experience in our Centres, but we go above and beyond in creating an exceptional customer service experience too.
We are looking for Team Member where you will be the heart of our operations and ensuring customers have the best experience in store. Must be fully flexible with weekend working. Will include early and late working shifts.
Must have experience in the role previously.

Skills required:
• Good communication skills and are able to work as part of a team and on your own by taking responsibility for working through your orders independently most of the time.
• Computer Literature.
• Make sure deliveries are perfectly stacked and secure.
• Report any damaged items to your line manager.
• Work well under pressure.
• Professionalism and reliability.
• Good time management.
• Highly motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to succeed.
• Able to work using own initiative.
Duties will include:
• To check goods in against delivery notes for accuracy and damages.
• Notify the relevant Department via the Delivery Note of any shortages.
• Notify relevant Department of any damaged goods received and place in the Quarantine section, awaiting further instruction.
• Assist when required with the physical movement of stock from the Goods In area to the warehouse and/or packing and putting away stock.
• Ensure all stock movements are accurately recorded.
• Stock control.
• Perform deliveries.
• Booking in deliveries to the Centre.
