Location: AWE Aldermaston
Duration: 6 months+
Working Hours: 07:00–17:30
Rates
• Plumber Engineers & Fitters: £25.00 per hour
• Plumber Improvers: £19.00 per hour
• Plumber Mates: £16.10 per hour
Role & Scope of Work
We are recruiting experienced Plumbers, Plumber Improvers, and Plumber Mates for long-term work at AWE Aldermaston. The project involves standard commercial plumbing, including HDPE fusion welding and Mapress copper installations. Candidates should be confident working within a large commercial environment and able to support fast-paced installation activities.
Recruitment Process

3. Successful candidates will receive a BPPS Clearance link
4. Obtain DBS check
5. All documents submitted to Balfour Beatty security for final clearance
Requirements
• Valid CSCS Blue Card
• Proven experience as a Plumber, Plumber Improver, or Plumber Mate
• Ability to reliably commute to AWE Aldermaston
• PPE required for Mates
• PPE + tools required for Improvers
• Minimum 2 years’ experience for Plumber Mates
Additional Information
• Site is approximately a 15-minute walk from the car park
• Long contract with potential for ongoing work
