Our standard full-time working week is 34 hours, usually Monday to Friday (although some flexibility may be required depending on the sector in which you work). The Job Roles:
"Actively Transforming Lives" by delivering consistent, high quality training in Maths and English to support learners in achieving functional skills and GSCE qualifications.
The Candidates:
· Qualified to teach GCSE and/or Functional Skills in Maths and/orEnglish;
· Hold current teaching qualification to minimum of Level 3 (PTLLS, Education & Training or equivalent)
· CAVA or equivalent assessing qualification an advantage (but fully-accredited training available in-house) ;
· Experienced in supporting and maintaining engagement of learners from Entry Level 2 to Level 2 abilities, with the resilience and positive, approachable manner that maintains learner engagement
· Confident in delivering consistent quality of training and assessment, teaching individuals, small groups and classroom cohorts
· Have good organisational skills with ability to prioritise own workload;
· Able to develop and maintain motivational working relationships with learners;
· Able to work both independently and within the wider team supporting functional skills as part of the vocational subject curriculum.
