About the role
We are currently looking to appoint an Administrator, to join the Transport Services function of our Estates/Facilities Department.
Duties include:
Handling queries from colleagues, learners and parents/carers.
Arranging maintenance, servicing, safety inspections, tax and MOTs.
Raising orders as appropriate and ensuring records are held.
Collating mileage and fuel data and ensuring FPNs, Clean Air Zone and Toll charges are paid by the relevant department.
Managing internal vehicle bookings.
Supporting with the outsourced learner transport.
This role is 15 hours per week, to be worked over 2 days, with the working pattern negotiable.
About the person
The successful candidate will have previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in a transport and/or educational environment. An administrative qualification at level 2 or above is desirable, however a good understanding of Microsoft Office is essential. Whilst many aspects of the role will require the individual to be forward thinking and organised, some situations will require a more reactive approach to find suitable solutions. Strong written and verbal communication skills are a must as you will be dealing with internal and external stakeholders, and external bodies on behalf of the organisation.
