Are you a proven Electrical Project Manager with the drive, technical excellence, and leadership capability to deliver one of the UK's most advanced data centre schemes? This is a rare opportunity to join a Tier 1 M&E contractor at the forefront of high tech critical infrastructure.
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager to take ownership of the full electrical delivery on a flagship £97m data centre in Hemel Hempstead. You will play a pivotal role in leading multi disciplinary teams, driving technical solutions and ensuring flawless project execution within a fast paced mission critical environment.
The Role
As Senior Electrical PM, you will be responsible for:
- Complete electrical package management from design development to commissioning and handover
- Leading project engineers, supervisors, and specialist subcontractors on a large-scale, high-spec M&E installation
- Influencing design, challenging technical solutions, and ensuring compliance with Tier III/IV data centre standards
- Managing programme, cost control, risk, procurement and client reporting at a senior level
- Liaising directly with blue-chip end clients, main contractors and internal leadership to maintain best-in-class delivery
- Ensuring uncompromising commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle
About You
We're looking for someone who brings:
- Proven experience managing major electrical packages within mission critical data centres
- A strong technical grounding in high-voltage/low-voltage distribution, generators, UPS systems, containment, power quality, and commissioning
- Leadership capability to drive teams, instil accountability, and maintain high performance under demanding deadlines
- Commercial acumen, contractual awareness and the ability to communicate confidently at all levels
- A solutions-focused mindset with a passion for innovation and best practice
